We help people, organisations, and communities make sense of the planning system and secure the best possible outcomes.
Whether you’re building or extending a home, working with a listed building, changing a building’s use, planning a small development or an urban extension, we can support you at any stage of the process.
If you’re facing a proposal you’re unhappy with, from the loss of a local pub to a large development that needs better community benefits, we can help you respond, negotiate, and be heard.
Our Services
General Advice
If you have an idea in mind but need guidance on the best route through the planning system, we can offer honest, impartial advice on your options. We also provide ad hoc planning advice to clients who need help with specific planning questions.
Planning Applications and Consents
We handle planning applications and consents for all types of development, from small domestic proposals to complex schemes. We advise on the most appropriate consent route, prepare and submit applications, and manage the process through to decision, keeping clients informed and supported throughout.
Listed Building Consents and Heritage
We advise clients on how to repair, alter, and adapt listed buildings in a way that respects their historic significance. Our services include the preparation of heritage assessments and statements, as well as the submission and management of listed building consent applications.
Appeals, Hearings and Public Inquirys
If your planning application has been refused, we can help you appeal. We guide you through the whole process, whether it’s a written appeal, a hearing, or a public inquiry. We prepare your case, gather the necessary evidence, and represent you at every stage, making sure your proposals are clearly explained and giving them the best chance of success.
Enforcement
If you are dealing with enforcement action as a result of unauthorised development, we provide clear advice and represent you in negotiations with your Local Planning Authority to resolve the issue, whether that involves challenging the action or regularising the development.
Representations
We can prepare and submit representations on behalf of individuals, landowners, and organisations in response to emerging planning policies or planning applications submitted by others. Our team ensures that comments are clear, well-structured, and effectively communicate your position to local authorities, helping to influence outcomes in a constructive and professional way.
Daisy Estrada has been a planner and urban designer for the past 20 years and has worked in the planning departments of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the City of London Corporation, and the Royal Borough of Greenwich, advising on planning, urban design, and heritage.
Daisy has extensive experience in planning at all scales, from small extensions, change of use applications and historic office refurbishments to high-rise office and residential towers and large-scale masterplans. She has most recently defended the Royal Borough of Greenwich at Public Inquiry for Greenwich Quay, a 17-storey student housing development in Deptford Creek.
Daisy founded Estrada Planning in 2024 to share this wealth of knowledge and help others on their planning journeys. Her work to date, among other projects, has included design negotiations for a local authority in the Midlands for a 550-home urban extension, representing a Parish Council in discussions with a major golf club planning a 240-bedroom hotel and representing a community group to save their local pub from developers.
